Professional Training Contemporary

Marion Sparber

This contemporary dance training focusses on spirals and floor work. The class starts with opening channels of awareness from inside-out and playfulness is used to get inspired, let go and surprise oneself. With the help of exercises and games in different constellations, participants can listen to the weight of their body and direct it through space, as well as play with off-balance and shifting the vertical axis. As techniques of inspiration Marion uses Flying Low by David Zambrano and Release technique mixed together with her own personal investigation. The overarching aim of this training is to establish a collective mind and body to enhance group dynamics and give an energetic push to the individual source of creativity. This training aspires to encourage curiosity, connection and risk-taking.
