Professional Training Contemporary

Simea Cavelti

Simea’s pedagogical dance practice is nourished by 11 years of GAGA training and influenced by various choreographers and dance artists she has worked with both in Europe and the Middle East. This class explores a wide range of bodily qualities through multiple modes of listening: sensorial, imaginary, acoustically, physically and emotionally. The individual moving body and the collective awareness of each other are starting points to invite everyone to expand their own possibilities and tune their instrument, the body. This class includes gentleness, delicacy, intensity, shaking, pleasure, burning sensations, fast rhythms, compositions in space and zooming into the individual micro movement.
