Giulia Tonelli

This training is the result of the impact that some great choreographers had on Tonelli during her ballet career. Musicality and a sense of moving big in space make dancing interesting. Using the cube of Forsythe as an example, the dancers will enrich themselves with a feeling of a dance that is 360 degree rather than one dimensional.

Giulia Tonelli

Giulia Tonelli completed her ballet training at the Wiener Staatsoper Ballettschule. She received her first contract as a demi soloist with the Royal Ballet of Flanders. There she danced a variety of repertoire focusing on the work of William Forsythe and Jiri Kylian among others. In 2010 she got a soloist contract with Ballet Zurich where she soon became principal dancer. She won the prize dancer of the year by tanznet in 2022.
