In light of the terrible recent events, Tanzhaus Zürich has signed below statement, an initiative by Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne, along with numerous other Swiss theatres. We have further decided that all persons with N or F permits as well as those with protection status S are welcome at Tanzhaus for free (including shows, professional training sessions, yoga lessons and courses). Beyond this, Tanzhaus as an institution as well as individual Tanzhaus employees are trying to help individual Ukrainian performing arts professionals to settle in a safer environment, aided among others by the European Dancehouse Network EDN. If you want to join us in these efforts, we suggest you make a donation to the Ukrainian Emergency Performing Arts Fund.

We, cultural workers in Switzerland, express our complete solidarity with the Ukrainian people. In view of the urgency and the dangers faced by Ukrainian artists, and by Russian artists opposed to this war, we are ready to act by welcoming them in Switzerland. We will work hand in hand with federal, cantonal and municipal authorities so that they may continue their activities and we will support those who have chosen to remain on site and resist.
