How big is the space between Earth and the sky, and can our memories fill it? With this project, we are imagining rituals in support of the sky by creating memorials for mourning. Using music, movements and dance, this gesture is grounded in the belief that our bodies keep the score of the different events occurring in our lives. This research dissects our relation to memories, allowing a space of reflexion and contemplation. It is a moment of shared remembrance, where our primary material is made up of our movements, which we now perceive as embodied recollections of the past.
