SHARING: Hundsköpfige

During residency at Tanzhaus Zürich, Marie Popall, Saskia Winkelmann and their team are exploring representations of female-read bodies in monster stories and films of the horror genre – overwriting them into their own performative narrative on stage. They embark on a search for the dog-headed in themselves and in each other, for monsters with which they can identify themselves and terrify the heteropatriarchy. They ask: Where is our power directed when we don't turn it against ourselves? In the two weeks at Tanzhaus, Winkelmann/Popall are focussing on the voice and scenography, for which they have invited Andrzej Profus as a vocal coach and Lilli Unger for light and space.

The work-in-progress Sharing will be followed by a brief audience discussion.
