Marion Zurbach / Cie Unplush

Choreographer and artistic director of the association Unplush, Marion Zurbach explores dance in relation to research in ethology and speculative narrative. From 2003 to 2015, she worked, among others, with the Ballet National de Marseille and the Bern Ballett. In 2018, Marion finished her master’s degree in theatre and performance at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB). In 2019, Unplush received the June Johnson Dance Price (Swiss Dance Awards 2019). Since 2019, Marion has taken part in productions as a choreographer with Cologne Opera (GER) in 2019 and Tanz Ensemble Luzerner Theater (CH) in 2022. As a dancer she worked with Boris Charmatz Sea Change MIF Manchester (ENG) in 2021. In 2025 she will create "Summoning a chorus of vilaines", co-produced by Dampfzentrale Bern and Ballet National de Marseille.
