Silvia Giordano

Silvia Giordano is a choreographer and author. She studied choreography at Codarts and Fontys in the Netherlands and holds a PhD in Management of Cultural Heritage. In 2020 she won the international competition for emerging choreographers at the Venice Biennale and was awarded the Theodor Rawyler Prize in 2021. Her research explores the practice of intuition in choreographic work, moving between controlled craft and playful responsiveness to visual scores.
