Mithkal Alzghair is a performing artist who explores the body as a concept of humanity, a space for memory, poetry and imagination. After studying at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, he did the “ex.er.ce” master’s program in Montpellier. In 2016 he created Displacement ; in 2017 he created Transaction; in 2019 the show We are not going back; and in 2022 his solo Clamors. For him creation is a space where the body becomes a terrain for experimentation, a place where meaning, contradictions and infinity intersect. For him dance is not just a physical act, but a constant quest, a space for questioning. He sees his art as an instrument of transformation, a silent revolution for peace.
